We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) ready to make a difference from September 4th through June 25th. With a full-time, 35-hour work week (8:15AM–3:15PM), you’ll focus your expertise on an elementary caseload, helping young learners achieve their communication goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP licensure for New Jersey
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience (elementary caseload preferred)
- Ability to deliver comprehensive services, including assessments and evaluations
- Comfortable working within a district environment; capable of adapting to school policies and culture
- Reliable transportation and reasonable commute to the school site
- Completion of onboarding requirements: TB screening, physical examination, fingerprints (for both agency and district)
- Please note: Candidates seeking Clinical Fellowship (CF) or SLPA roles are not eligible for this position due to supervision limitations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention in accordance with student IEPs
- Conduct thorough assessments and complete all required evaluations
- Effectively manage a diverse elementary caseload, ensuring timely services for each student in need
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
