School Speech Language Pathologist - Orange, NJ
Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment. This full-time role spans from September 4th through June 25th, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, 8:15AM–3:15PM, offering 35 hours per week. Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey SLP license (CCC required)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings
- Proficiency in completing evaluations, testing, and assessments
- Reliability and ability to manage a full elementary caseload independently
- Must be ready to service students’ needs fully and adapt to district procedures
- Ability to complete both agency and district onboarding requirements (TB, physical, fingerprints)
- Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the area
- Cannot accept Clinical Fellows or SLPAs due to supervision constraints
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to assigned elementary caseload
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create detailed assessments, and maintain precise records
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
- Maintain effective communication with the school team to monitor and report on students' development
