Speech Language Pathologist in Edison, NJ

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) working with students at the elementary level, you’ll play an essential part in helping children thrive academically and socially. Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is required, and you'll need to be confident working within district guidelines. Your expertise in handling a range of speech and language needs—including completing thorough assessments, evaluations, and tailored therapy—will be highly valued.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid New Jersey SLP licensure (CCC required)
- Documented school-based SLP experience with elementary students
- Familiarity and comfort working with district procedures and staff
- Ability to independently manage a dynamic caseload and carry out all required testing and evaluations
- Reliable transportation and ability to closely commute
- Ability to meet onboarding requirements (TB, physical, fingerprints for both agency and district)
- Comfortable disclosing required information up front
- Not accepting Clinical Fellows or SLPA candidates due to supervision restrictions
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language services to an elementary caseload
- Conduct thorough assessments, progress monitoring, and data-driven evaluations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Maintain detailed records aligned with district standards
