Speech Language Pathologist in Edison, NJ

This contract position runs from September 4th through June 25th, following a consistent weekday schedule from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, with a weekly commitment of 35 hours. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current NJ licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC required)
- Recent experience providing SLP services in a school-based setting
- Ability to effectively manage and service an elementary caseload
- Proficiency in conducting student testing, evaluations, and assessments
- Comfortable working within district protocols and requirements
- Reliable transportation and proximity to the area to ensure regular attendance
- Willingness to complete onboarding requirements (TB test, physical, agency/district fingerprints)
- Please note: this position is not available to Clinical Fellows (CF) or SLPA applicants due to supervision limitations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring in a timely manner
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to promote student success
- Communicate professionally with families and faculty regarding student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state standards
