School Speech Language Pathologist - Edison, NJ

This position is based within a welcoming elementary school, with standard hours of 8:15AM–3:15PM, Monday through Friday, for a 35-hour work week. The contract runs from September 4th through June 25th, making it ideal for SLPs who thrive in academic settings and appreciate a predictable school calendar.
What you’ll need:
- Valid NJ SLP licensure (CCC required)
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience, with a background in elementary caseloads
- Ability to handle IEP-driven services—including direct therapy, testing, evaluations, and assessments
- Comfort working within district protocols and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to complete TB test, physical, and fingerprinting as part of onboarding
- Reliable transportation and proximity to the school
- Availability for a brief, 15-minute interview
- Please note: This role is not open to Clinical Fellows (CF) or SLPAs due to supervision requirements
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide direct services to students and manage a full elementary caseload
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and participate in IEP meetings
- Work closely with teachers, families, and district specialists
