School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Orange, New Jersey
Step into a rewarding, full-time contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This position spans September 4th to June 25th, with a steady schedule of 35 hours per week, 8:15AM to 3:15PM. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference, working with a dedicated caseload at a vibrant elementary campus in a supportive academic environment near Orange, NJ.
Your responsibilities will include providing direct speech therapy services, conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments, and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll be relied upon to manage your caseload efficiently and ensure timely completion of all required testing and documentation.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Active New Jersey SLP license and ASHA CCCs
- Prior experience working in K-5 school settings
- Proficiency with school-based evaluations, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Confidence navigating district procedures and expectations
- Ability to work independently; SLPA and CF candidates cannot be considered due to supervision limitations
- Reliable transportation and comfort with commuting
- Readiness to complete onboarding requirements (TB, physical, fingerprints)
