Multiple positions are available for those experienced in school-based therapy, including placements within high school, middle school, and elementary school environments. What we’re looking for:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license for the state of Washington, or eligibility and willingness to obtain it
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- School-based SLP experience is highly desired
- Ability to obtain fingerprinting clearance with OSPI before beginning assignment
- Strong skills in individualized education plan (IEP) development, therapy implementation, and documentation
- Collaborative mindset, able to work alongside teachers, support staff, and families
- Able to work onsite throughout the duration of the school calendar (no remote or virtual candidates)
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students across grades K-12, assigned to one or more sites
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Maintain clear records and progress notes
- Consult and collaborate with educational teams and families to foster student growth
- Participate in school meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
