Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience or coursework in pediatric or school-based settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement tailored treatment plans for diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from diverse backgrounds
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress
- Provide consultation and support to staff and families to enhance student success
- Employ creative, evidence-based strategies to engage children and foster progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives supporting student wellness
