- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowships (CFY) also welcome
- Experience or coursework in pediatric care, especially within schools
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a compassionate and student-centered approach
Key responsibilities for this rewarding role:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students, focusing on measurable progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families to support student goals
- Document progress accurately and maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Deliver direct and consultative services, adapting methods for diverse learners and needs
- Provide mentorship and guidance if filling a supervisory role, including CF supervision if applicable
