Empower young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant elementary setting, working across preschool through third grade. This full-time role runs from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday, supporting a caseload of approximately 50 students. Your expertise will shape communication skills and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid SLP license and certification
- Previous experience with preschool and/or elementary-aged students highly valued
- Strong assessment and intervention skills in school-based settings
- Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and work collaboratively with educators and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and committed to fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic speech, language, and communication assessments for students ages 3 to 8
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress and success
- Deliver direct therapy sessions and consultative services as indicated in IEPs
- Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to progress reviews
- Offer expertise during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
