Licensed Certified Speech and Language Pathologist - Vista, CA

This role offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, 7:45am to 3:15pm, ideal for educators seeking consistent hours during the school year. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 5, 2026, providing the chance to make a lasting impact throughout multiple academic cycles.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certification required for school-based SLPs
- Previous experience in elementary or early childhood education preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective IEP goals
- Proficient in documentation and communication in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to assigned caseload
- Screen, assess, and identify students’ speech/language needs
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide progress updates to educators and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with classroom staff
- Maintain accurate and timely student records in compliance with district and legal guidelines
