Elementary Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Oceanside, CA

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time opportunity is conveniently located near Oceanside, CA, and offers the chance to make a lasting impact in an educational setting. Working with children from preschool through 3rd grade, you will provide services to approximately 50 students, helping them to reach communication milestones and thrive academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification and state licensure required
- Experience working with preschool and elementary school-aged children
- Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools and interventions for speech-language development
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with organizational efficiency
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all students
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from preschool through third grade
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school policies
- Consult with classroom teachers and parents to provide resources and strategies that support student learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
This position runs full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 3:15pm, with the assignment beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 5, 2026.
