Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY status
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong clinical skills in speech/language evaluation, IEP development, and intervention
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaborative team skills
- Experience with diverse student populations is highly valued
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) according to student goals
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ progress within the classroom
- Maintain timely, organized records and documentation meeting district and compliance standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic support
