Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Danville, California

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completion or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or CF-SLP status accepted
- State licensure (or the ability to obtain) for Speech-Language Pathologist practice
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school-based or healthcare settings
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and administer assessments for students with communication disorders
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education program (IEP) goals focusing on speech, language, fluency, and voice needs
- Provide direct therapy to students, adapting techniques to a range of abilities and ages
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough documentation on student performance
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
- Offer training and resources to staff regarding speech and language strategies
