Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active CA Speech-Language Pathology license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) also considered
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based caseloads is highly desirable
- Comfort with diverse communication disorders and individualized treatment plans
- Compassionate communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress reports
- Regularly collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to maximize student outcomes
- Consult with parents and caregivers to reinforce techniques and progress at home
- Participate in annual IEP meetings and support compliance with all educational guidelines
