Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible California state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also considered
- Experience in pediatric settings or schools is highly valued
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based documentation requirements
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, voice, and fluency goals
- Provide both direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress and best practices
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation of student services and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development as needed
