Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP/CCC license or eligibility in New York State
- Open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Experience or interest in serving diverse patient populations across the lifespan
- Strong documentation skills and ability to manage paperwork efficiently
- Adaptability for working in outpatient, home, and school-based settings
- Up-to-date knowledge of evaluation tools, therapeutic strategies, and best practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and evidence-based therapy for a pediatric through adult caseload
- Oversee a weekly schedule of approximately 40-45 treatment mandates, with built-in time for paperwork and documentation
- Collaborate with families, interdisciplinary team members, and educators to support ongoing communication goals
- Occasionally cover home health or local school-based caseloads as needed
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and ongoing quality improvement
- Pursue ongoing professional development with supervision and support for CF candidates onsite
