Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Commitment to collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals
- Previous school experience is a plus, but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapy that targets receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language, articulation, fluency, and voice
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Communicate progress clearly to parents and educational teams
- Serve students in both traditional and clinic-based school environments as needed
