What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending state licensure in New York
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) valued, but open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach for working with educators, families, and allied staff
- Passion for helping students achieve their full potential
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine communication strengths and areas for growth
- Create, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans
- Deliver engaging direct therapy sessions, targeting speech, language, and social communication
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student success in academic and social settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP/eligibility meetings
- Stay current on best practices in the field, integrating new strategies as appropriate
