Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Norfolk, VA

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligibility for state SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- School-based, pediatric, or educational SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to different caseloads and student needs
- Willingness to supervise or collaborate with SLPAs if indicated
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive speech-language assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing direct and consultative therapy services to students according to their unique needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate records and timely paperwork compliant with school and district guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Contributing to a positive, student-centered environment throughout the school year
