Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia SLP license
- Familiarity with ABA principles and verbal behavior
- Comfortable working with ages 5-22
- Experience (preferred) with AAC devices such as Proloquo2 and Touch Chat
- Experience working with students with challenging behaviors (aggression, self-injurious behavior, property damage) is a plus
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs)
Responsibilities:
- Work 2-3 days per week (approx. 20 hours) in a school-based or teletherapy setting
- Provide skilled speech-language services and support for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement IEPs and behavioral strategies
- Utilize AAC devices and evidence-based practices for optimal student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
