Qualifications:
- Current Virginia SLP license (open to Clinical Fellows)
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and verbal behavior
- Experience with school-aged students and/or in healthcare settings is welcome
- Familiarity with AAC devices (Proloquo2, Touch Chat) is highly valued
- Comfort working with students exhibiting challenging behaviors (aggression, self-injury, property destruction) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in-person or via teletherapy
- Collaborate with educators, support teams, and families to create individualized communication goals
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions for a diverse caseload, including students with significant behavioral needs
- Utilize AAC and assistive technology devices appropriately
- Maintain documentation, track progress, and participate in IEP or team meetings as required
