School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Leesburg, Virginia

This part-time position offers 20 hours per week across 2-3 days, serving individuals ages 5-22 in a collaborative educational setting near Leesburg, VA.
Ideal candidates will possess the skills and flexibility to address a variety of communication challenges, work with diverse populations, and adapt to evolving student needs. There is a strong focus on implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and verbal behavior strategies, as well as incorporating augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) technology. Clinicians currently completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFs) are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Virginia SLP license required
- Familiarity with ABA principles and verbal behavior methods
- Prior experience using AAC devices such as Proloquo2 and Touch Chat (preferred)
- Background working with students prone to problem behaviors, including aggression, self-injury, and property destruction, is a plus
- Open to candidates at all levels, including Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs with relevant knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and address student speech-language needs in both individual and group settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals collaboratively
- Employ behavioral and communication interventions using evidence-based practices
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Integrate technology and AAC systems to support student access and participation
