Key Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP License/Certification (required)
- Strong preference for school-based experience, especially with elementary-aged students
- Experience in speech-language therapy, developing IEP goals, and conducting thorough evaluations
- Skillful at progress monitoring and clinical documentation within a school setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Must be able to work full days onsite within the designated elementary school schedule (8:45 AM – 4:15 PM EST)
- Reliable transportation required
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language therapy sessions for elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Complete assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and inform intervention strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expertise and insight for goal setting
- Monitor and document student progress meticulously
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
- Flexibility to adapt to caseload changes as needed by the district
