Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active Delaware SLP License/Certification required
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Background providing speech-language therapy, including direct services and intervention
- Proficiency with evaluations, IEP development, and setting/monitoring IEP goals
- Track record of thorough progress monitoring and clinical documentation
- Skilled communicator able to collaborate with teachers, related service providers, families, and staff
- Dedicated to working the full scheduled onsite day (8:45 AM to 4:15 PM EST) and adapting to caseload needs
- Reliable transportation to school location
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Perform student evaluations to inform IEP development
- Create, adapt, and monitor IEP goals; document progress accurately
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to support student achievement
- Contribute to meetings, planning, and team efforts; assist as needed
- Adjust to changing caseloads and evolving school needs
- Maintain all necessary clinical documentation in accordance with school standards
