Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Fluent in American Sign Language or holds DHHT certification
  • Recent fingerprint clearance through the TEA (or willingness to complete this process)
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to DHH students (ages vary, K-12)
  • Collaborate with two other SLPs serving approximately 130 students
  • Focus on therapy sessions, with evaluations handled primarily by another team member
  • Maintain documentation, collaborate with educational teams, and contribute to student progress
