Speech Language Pathologist in Irving, TX

Embark on an exciting contract opportunity serving students in a regional day school program for the deaf, just outside the Irving, TX area. This position focuses on providing speech-language therapy within a dedicated DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) program. Full-time hours are available, with services delivered on-site—remote and virtual roles are not available for this opening.
Students span a broad age range and benefit from a collaborative therapy team. You will join a group of three therapists collectively supporting about 130 students, with this role prioritizing direct therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Texas
- Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) or DHHT certification is essential
- Previous school-based therapy experience preferred
- Familiarity with DHH populations a plus
- Able to complete TEA fingerprinting prior to the start date, unless already cleared within Texas public schools
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to DHH students
- Collaborate with other therapists and staff to develop and execute treatment plans
- Maintain comprehensive records and prepare progress reports
- Engage with students using ASL to ensure accessible, impactful therapy
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams dedicated to student growth
Contract and Benefits:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, from August 11, 2026, to May 28, 2027
- Work exclusively on-site within a collaborative and supportive educational environment
