Required Experience and Skills

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech and Hearing Clinician Certificate K–12 (293)
  • Valid Maine state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (accredited program)
  • Current Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) clearance
  • Experience working with diverse student populations; comfortable with augmentative communication devices
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for a variety of communication disorders
  • Work collaboratively with educators and families to support student success
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and help design individualized educational plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
  • Stay informed on current research and best practices
