What We're Seeking:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist or holder of Speech and Hearing Clinician Certificate K–12 (293)
  • Current Maine licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Up-to-date Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) clearance
  • Experience with a diverse student population, including those with moderate to complex needs
  • Skills in assessment and intervention across a variety of communication disorders, including working with non-verbal students and familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and cognitive-communication needs in elementary students
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate actively with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student success
  • Take part in IEP meetings and contribute to crafting individualized educational plans
  • Stay informed of evidence-based practices and innovations in the field
