As a Speech-Language Pathologist serving private and home schools for the 2026–2027 academic year, you’ll have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact by working directly with diverse learners across multiple campuses.
This contract position features a full-time schedule with consistent hours from August through May. You’ll collaborate closely with special education teams, educators, administrators, and families, traveling between private schools to assess student needs, develop individualized plans, and deliver both direct and indirect therapy.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting strongly desired
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between schools
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Formulate and manage IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
- Deliver individualized therapy sessions in accordance with students’ needs
- Maintain accurate records and best-practice documentation
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and families to foster student progress
- Engage in regular consultations with education teams and participate in IEP meetings
