Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
- Active Georgia SLP license or valid GaPSC certification (either accepted initially; both required eventually)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) and Speech-Language Associates (SLAs) certified through GaPSC
- Experience working in educational settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services and therapy to a diverse student population
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and execute IEPs, track and document student progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide education and guidance to teachers and families regarding students’ communication needs
- Actively participate in school-based meetings and contribute to program development as needed
