Key Qualifications:
- Current GA Speech-Language Pathologist license or GaPSC Certification (one required to start, both needed over time)
- Open to Clinical Fellows and those credentialed as Speech-Language Associates (certified through GaPSC)
- Experience in school-based settings, preferably at multiple grade levels
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to foster a positive therapeutic environment for children and adolescents
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services onsite to students as assigned
- Complete screenings and evaluations to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Communicate regularly with educators, administrators, and caregivers regarding student progress
- Support a positive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment
- Participate in professional development and team meetings as required
