Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Active Georgia SLP license or GaPSC certificate (both will eventually be required—one is sufficient to start)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow applicants accepted; open to SLAs (with GaPSC certification)
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Role Overview:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions to students, fostering their communicative and academic success
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for caseload
- Work exclusively onsite following the district’s academic calendar
- Adapt to evolving caseloads and assignments, with details to be communicated
