Grades 9 - 12 Grades 6 - 8 Speech Language Pathologist in Macon, GA

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with students in grades K-12 preferred; ability to adapt to varied age groups (K–5, 6–8, and 9–12)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Familiarity with IEPs and progress tracking
- Strong collaborative skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse age groups and communication challenges
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and group settings across grade levels K–12
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed based on data and feedback
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and school staff to support each student’s academic and social development
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help ensure appropriate goals and accommodations are in place
- Provide resources and education to families and staff as needed
