Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding school-based contract assignment, supporting students' communication access and academic success. This onsite opportunity near McDonough, GA, is ideal for professionals credentialed as SLP-CCC or those holding—or working toward—a GaPSC Certificate. The position runs from late July 2026 through late May 2027, with a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. Candidates with SLPA credentials are not eligible; however, those certified as SLAs through GaPSC are welcome.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
- Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC Certification (willingness to obtain both encouraged)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow eligible (no SLPAs; open to SLAs with GaPSC cert)
- Experience in school-based settings is beneficial
- Solid communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication needs
- Provide direct and consultative services to students within the educational setting
- Assess, document, and report on student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive support
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district guidelines
