School Speech Language Pathologist - Lynnwood, WA
Make a meaningful impact as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist during the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support students in an educational environment close to Lynnwood, WA, with both elementary and secondary level caseloads of 42 and 45 students, respectively. Multiple positions are available, providing in-person therapy and assessment services from late August 2026 through mid-June 2027.
Ideal candidates will bring expertise in school-based speech-language pathology, a passion for student success, and strong communication skills. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized interventions that support academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current and valid Washington SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage a school-aged caseload (elementary and/or secondary)
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
- Provide in-person therapy sessions and consultations
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Provide education and resources to families and faculty
