Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Proficiency in pediatric and school-based therapy best practices
- Comfortable using teletherapy technology for remote service delivery
- Familiarity with developing, implementing, and documenting IEPs
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide both in-person and remote therapy sessions based on assignment requirements
- Maintain timely, detailed progress reports and documentation
- Consult with educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
- Educate staff and students about speech and language disorders
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities
