Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in groups
- Monitor, record, and report student progress toward IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students’ success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all legal and ethical mandates
