School Speech Language Pathologist - Lakewood, Washington

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans
- Conduct screenings and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Offer guidance and professional development to educators and parents regarding communication disorders
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current certification from ASHA (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CFY applicants are welcome)
- Active state licensure or ability to obtain appropriate state credentials as required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
