Key Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license in Washington state, or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Proficiency conducting screenings, evaluations, and treatment plans for diverse student needs
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students ages PreK–12
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders
- Deliver direct therapy (individual and group) that aligns with students’ goals and supports classroom success
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and communication with parents/caregivers
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and educational planning
- Provide guidance and support to teachers regarding classroom strategies and accommodations
