Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or at Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) stage
- Washington state licensure (or eligibility), as well as ESA certification required for school-based practice
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within a school setting
- Skilled in conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering both direct and consultative services
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organization abilities
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and adapting approaches to remote instruction
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, based on IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, determine eligibility, and collaborate in the development of IEPs
- Maintain consistent and detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success in the classroom
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and provide training or resources as needed
- Participate in professional development opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field
- Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines for school-based practice
