Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Tacoma, Washington

The position welcomes both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP - CCC), those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY), and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), including those interested in teletherapy opportunities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent (for SLP roles)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP or SLPA
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY applicants are encouraged to apply
- Experience or interest in pediatrics and working within school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language screenings, assessments, and interventions to students
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs, onsite or virtually
- Support the development of communication, social, and academic skills in students
