1st Grade 5th Grade School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lewiston, Idaho
An opportunity awaits for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a direct impact on students across K-12. For the 2026-2027 academic year, six SLPs are needed to provide vital in-person services within a dynamic school environment. With the current SLP retiring after years of service, there is a strong foundation in place and a large group of students eager for support.
Caseloads are managed thoughtfully, each ranging between 50-60 students, allowing clinicians the ability to build relationships and see each child’s progress firsthand. Assignments will be tailored to each SLP’s preference and expertise—whether you’re most comfortable working in Elementary (7:30 am–4 pm), Middle (7:45 am–4 pm), or High School (8:30 am–4 pm) settings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP licensure (or eligibility) for the state
- Experience with a diverse age range of students (K-12 preferred)
- Skill in developing and adjusting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Commitment to in-person therapy and collaborative teamwork
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
Role Expectations:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in small groups and one-on-one sessions
- Assess, diagnose, and document students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and update IEPs, maintaining compliance and clear communication
- Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families for student-centered approaches
- Participate in professional development and collaborate with other SLPs
