Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity providing in-person speech-language pathology services to students in a vibrant educational community for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. With the current SLP set to retire, there is an immediate need for six dedicated SLP professionals who are passionate about supporting K-12 students as they build confidence and communication skills.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with students in grades 1 through 12, with assignment placements in elementary, middle, or high school based on your background and preferences. Caseloads are thoughtfully managed and range between 50-60 students to ensure quality service and support. Schedules are tailored to each placement:
- Elementary School: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Middle School: 7:45 am – 4:00 pm
- High School: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and valid SLP license in Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience delivering SLP services to K-12 populations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage caseloads effectively
- Collaborative mindset for working with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct in-person speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Conduct evaluations, develop therapy plans, and monitor student progress
- Complete timely and compliant documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and family members to support student goals
- Contribute to an inclusive, supportive school climate
