Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license for the state of Oregon
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA CCC-SLP preferred)
- Previous experience working with children in elementary, middle, and high school settings
- A strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to deliver integrated support
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding progress and strategies for support at home
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
