Speech Language Pathologist in North Bend, OR

This contract position is perfect for an SLP looking to work onsite and support students in a school-based setting. You'll work closely with educators, families, and other professionals to empower students and help them achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in Oregon, or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFY candidates also considered
- Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working onsite as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities through formal and informal evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with students’ education needs
- Deliver therapy sessions in both individual and small group formats
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports for compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
- Provide ongoing support and education to staff and families regarding communication disorders and intervention strategies
