Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Background in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Experience in Early Intervention, Early Childhood Special Education, or K–12 school programs is highly desirable
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and relevant paperwork
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions for eligible students
- Serve students in both EI/ECSE (Birth–5) and K–12 school settings, as assigned
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate records, manage caseload documentation, and ensure compliance with special education regulations
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and consultation with staff and families
- Utilize 225 minutes of dedicated preparation time weekly to plan and coordinate services
- Balance a manageable caseload, ensuring quality care and attention for each student
