You’ll work closely with an experienced Early Intervention (EI) team, focusing on young children in the early childhood caseload. This is an itinerant role, bringing vital speech and language services to children in a variety of school settings, ensuring every student receives the best possible support during these critical years.
Qualifications:
- State of Oregon license as a Speech Language Pathologist, active or in process
- Previous experience with early childhood or EI programs is an asset
- Strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and therapy planning for young children
- Collaborative approach to working with educators, families, and support staff
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility for an itinerant role and comfort with travel within the school district
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct evaluations as part of a skilled, multidisciplinary team
- Deliver speech and language therapy to early childhood students
- Support and advise families and educators on communication development
- Maintain accurate records and complete documentation in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP and IFSP meetings, contributing expertise to collaborative planning
- Travel between sites as part of the dynamic EI program
