Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure for Idaho or eligibility to obtain credentials
- Experience providing speech services within a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
- Competence with a range of assessment tools and therapy techniques
- Flexibility, strong organization, and reliability
- Teletherapy experience is valued, though in-person availability is required for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students in-person at two elementary campuses
- Evaluate students and develop individualized education plans (IEPs), including measurable goals and objectives
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring for a defined caseload
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams to deliver effective interventions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and district requirements
- Support students’ communication skills to help them succeed academically and socially
