Qualifications and Experience Desired:

  • Active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC credentials required
  • Previous experience working in school settings, particularly at the elementary level, is highly valued
  • Strong background in assessment, treatment planning, and delivering therapy for a range of communication disorders
  • Experience with IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • While teletherapy skills are appreciated, this role currently requires in-person presence
  • A compassionate and adaptable approach when working with diverse caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to students across two elementary school sites
  • Administer evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain meticulous records in line with school and district requirements
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and special education staff to support students' academic success and social participation
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams in IEP meetings, goal setting, and progress monitoring
  • Provide strategies and resources for educational staff and families to foster communication growth outside of direct therapy sessions

This full-time role consists of 7 to 8 hour days, 4-5 days per week, providing a predictable and supportive schedule within a school calendar.
