Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Eligibility for Idaho state licensure (or current licensure)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in person; teletherapy experience is beneficial but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, intervention, and therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with special education staff, families, and classroom teachers
- Travel between two nearby elementary school sites as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, team planning, and school-wide initiatives
- Utilize creative strategies to engage young learners in building essential communication skills
