Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC-SLP required)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, particularly with elementary populations
- Strong skills in evaluation, individualized education planning, and direct therapy
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is advantageous, but primary opportunity is in-person
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to organize and manage a varied caseload efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct in-person therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers and parents to support generalization of newly acquired skills
- Adapt therapy to meet the diverse needs of student populations
