Embark on an exciting new contract opportunity supporting K–4th grade students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role runs from August 17, 2026, to November 20, 2026, with a consistent 35-hour-per-week schedule, allowing you to focus on transformative therapy with young learners. What We’re Looking For:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license issued by the state of Michigan
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Comfort and skill working with early elementary (K–4th) caseloads
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and student-centered care
- Supervisory experience not required—SLP-CFs are not being considered for this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct therapy services, adjusting approaches to suit diverse learning styles
- Monitor progress, maintain detailed records, and report outcomes for IEP meetings
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in collaborative team meetings to discuss strategies and student progress
- Advocate for students’ needs while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations
