This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to make a meaningful impact across a diverse age range and multiple settings. You'll provide essential therapy services during both the summer and school year in a mix of elementary, middle, and high school environments, including in-home therapy sessions in the local area.
What you'll bring:
- Valid Michigan School Speech and Language Pathologist Certification required
- Experience with early intervention services, preschool, and elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills for coordinating across multiple sites
- Confidence working with a diverse student caseload, including early learners and PreK-Elementary populations
- Adaptability to manage a flexible summer schedule (5-10 hours/week) and a full school-year workload (32.5 hours/week)
- Proven ability to provide quality services in both school and in-home environments
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to a wide developmental range—from early intervention through elementary grades
- Serving students across three schools within a tight two-mile radius, plus select in-home sessions
- Collaborating with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop effective, individualized plans
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting student progress according to school and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing as a valued team member
This contract assignment offers a competitive compensation range of $45-$55 per hour, providing valuable experience in varied educational settings and the chance to work with passionate colleagues.
