Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current, active SLP license issued by the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a K–12 or school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable working with K–4th grade students on a diverse caseload
- SLP-CFs will not be considered for this opportunity
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students requiring speech and language intervention
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEPs that address each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy to K–4th grade students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure optimal student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with relevant regulations and school policies
