Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP, SLP-CFY, or related state licensure (or ability to obtain Michigan license prior to school year)
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Comfort with diverse K-12 caseloads and IEP process
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Collaborative spirit and adaptability to dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech/language disorders in students from kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of services provided
- Participate in school meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
