Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Kingwood, TX

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting junior and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment. This position begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027, offering you the chance to make a significant impact within the academic year. Utilize your expertise and commitment to evidence-based practice by working with a caseload of approximately 40 students. This assignment also includes oversight of walk-in therapy students, giving you opportunities to provide both direct intervention and adaptable support as needs arise.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations within schools is highly valued
- Strong skills in evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with diverse communication disorders
- Comfort working independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to junior high and high school students in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise and support walk-in therapy students
- Complete timely documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and professional regulations
